Tim is one of the few national mediators who has spent decades of his career counseling C-Suite executives from the inside. They know him and trust him.

He worked for two decades as national litigation and risk counsel for four market-dominant insurers and international reinsurers. His cases stemmed from the largest indemnity policies, altogether backed by billions of dollars in reserves.

Because Tim is a smart trial lawyer, with a record of trying his cases, he has had enviable success resolving conflict in America’s most dangerous punitive damages jurisdictions.

HARD-EARNED SIGNIFICANT TRIAL EXPERTISE FORGES TIM’S APPROACH

Tim hasn’t just litigated some, serious conflict. He has 36 years of proven trial success. He knows the courtroom. It’s his “office”. He has litigated hundreds of civil and must win criminal cases, from complaint to appeal, in federal and state courts nationwide.

Tim was appointed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to the Criminal Justice Act Panel. As a one-man firm, he represented federal defendants investigated by the FBI and charged by the United States Department of Justice with RICO conspiracy, complex fraud, drug trafficking, and violent federal crimes. Tim has prosecuted civil rights violations. Today, he devotes his pro bono efforts to freeing the wrongly convicted and to “third strike” cases.

“If you want to be a great trial lawyer, you have to get on your feet.” Tim graduated from the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute- the renowned, invitation-only residency program offered annually to fewer than one hundred of the best American and international trial lawyers. He was awarded the American College of Trial Lawyers Scholarship.

Every year, Tim donates his labor and tenacity to the underserved. He has been recognized for his pro bono service to elderly victims, crime victims, veterans, the incarcerated, the destitute, and the mentally ill. He is the recipient of the Massachusetts Senior Partners for Justice Meg Connelly MVP Award for his frequent pro bono state and federal representation of victims of financial exploitation and for his commitment to, “Access to Justice for all”.
